4,391 PointsI'm just confused as to why this code isn't working. It says tongueLength doesn't exist...
It's all in the title
namespace Treehouse.CodeChallenges
{
class Frog
{
public readonly int TongueLength;
public readonly int ReactionTime;
public readonly int FlyReactionTime;
public readonly int DistanceToFly;
public Frog(int tongueLength, int reactionTime, int flyReactionTime, int distanceToFly)
{
TongueLength = tongueLength;
ReactionTime = reactionTime;
FlyReactionTime = flyReactionTime;
DistanceToFly = distanceToFly;
}
public bool EatFly(int distanceToFly)
{
return tongueLength >= distanceToFly;
}
public bool EatFly(int distanceToFly, int flyReactionTime)
{
return reactionTime <= flyReactionTime;
}
}
}

231,198 PointsThe message is incorrect, but I see at least 4 issues that need attention:
- You added 2 additional parameters to the Frog constructor that are not needed.
- You changed the name of the variable in the first EatFly method (you should not change this method!)
- Your new EatFly method (with 2 parameters) is not using the correct variables for comparison.
- The new method needs to make and combine two comparisons: one for speed, one for length.
