Hi there! Your code runs perfectly outside of the Treehouse compiler, but I believe they were looking to see an external name and a local name for your parameters. If you insert the "for" before your local parameter location:

          func coordinates (for location: String) -> (Double, Double) {

it should work. Also, you forget to enter switch before your wrote your cases:

switch location
{
    case "Eiffel Tower": lat = 48.8582; lon = 2.2945
    case "Great Pyramid": lat = 29.9792; lon = 31.1344
    case "Sydney Opera House": lat = 33.8587; lon = 151.2140
    default: return (0,0)
    }

Other than those two minor errors, I was able to get it running.

Cheers!
