Hi, they want you to create a new function called 'getTileCount' which you pass a tile. This then loops through all current tiles and counts how many of that particular tile you have. I have included code which should help you to understand.

public class ScrabblePlayer {
  private String mHand;

  public ScrabblePlayer() {
    mHand = "";
  }

  public String getHand() {
   return mHand;
  }

  public void addTile(char tile) {
    // Adds the tile to the hand of the player
    mHand += tile;
  }

  public boolean hasTile(char tile) {
   return mHand.indexOf(tile) > -1;
  }

  public int getTileCount(char tileMatch) {
    int count = 0;
    for (char tile: mHand.toCharArray()){
      if (tile == tileMatch)
        count++;
    }
    return count;
  }

}
