305 PointsIllegal use of statement
I was struggling to understand the Do While process but I don't see what went wrong here. I keep getting the error Illegal use of statement on the closing of the do while block for the loop. Please help!
// I have initialized a java.io.Console for you. It is in a variable named console.
String response;
do {
String response = console.readLine("Do you understand do while loops? ");
if (response.equalsIgnoreCase("No"))
} while(response.equalsIgnoreCase("No"));

5,604 PointsHi there! you can get rid of the "If" statement you included, the portion after the "while" will do that for you, as in "While response is equal to no, keep looping"
Take care and happy coding :)
