Python

if statements

what does this mean;

print("Keep up the grind, {}!!!".frormat(first_name))
AttributeError: 'str' object has no attribute 'frormat'

I can't figure it out

Hi Marquis,

The error is telling you that objects of type str (strings) don't have a method called frormat.

As you can see you are attempting to call the frormat method on the string "Keep up the grind, {}!!!":

print("Keep up the grind, {}!!!".frormat(first_name))

You should be using the format method.

Hope that helps

Alex
