308 PointsIf my code returns a String in a playground why is the editor telling my method needs to return a String?
My method name is correct, and it is return a String. The error is make sure your are declaring a method called description that returns a String. Why would this not be working.
struct Tag {
let name: String
}
struct Post {
let title: String;
let author: String;
let tag: Tag;
func description () -> String {
let result = "\(title) by \(author). Filed under \(tag.name)"
return result
}
}
let firstPost = Post(title:"Treehouse",author:"Joe Timko",tag: Tag(name:"tag"));
let postDescription = firstPost.description()

Your code is all correct, except for one spacing issue.
In this line of code,
func description () -> String {
you have a space after 'description' and before the opening/closing parentheses. Swift does not like this. :) Just remove the space...
func description() -> String {
and your code passes with no problems. Keep Coding! :)
