If I take a course to see if I like it, then later take the techdegree do I retake it or get credit for it done?

I am interested in learning more than just website development. IF I take some courses for mobile app then decide later to take the techdegree (in either android or ios), would I get credit in my techdegree when I doing it for having already done the course or will I have to take it again (ie do it twice because I did it prior to techdegree enrollment)?
