If For Loops are olds school what would be considered the new school of looping over a array ?

I was wondering if someone can explain me what makes them old school and some pros and cons of using For loops. Or should I just avoid using them ?

1 Answer

The old way is

for(int i =0; i < array.length;i++){
     doSomething();
}

The new way is an enhanced for loop.

For(String s : array){
      doSomething();
}
