Java Java Basics Perfecting the Prototype Censoring Words - Using String Equality

if code not working when complied.

So every time i compile my code the if code does not work and does not ask for the age. it goes straight to 'Enter a name'.

import java.io.Console;

public class TreeStory {

public static void main(String[] args) {
    Console console = System.console();
  String ageOfUser = console.readLine("How old are you ");
 int age = Integer.paseInt(ageOfUser);
    if (age < 13) {
      //insert exit code
      console.printf("Sorry but you must be at least 13 to use this program.\n");
      System.exit(0);
    }
    String name = console.readLine("Enter a name:  ");
    String adjective = console.readLine("Enter an adjective:  ");
    String noun = console.readLine("Enter a noun:  ");
    String adverb = console.readLine("Enter an adverb:  ");
    String verb = console.readLine("Enter a verb ending with -ing:  ");

  console.printf("Your Story     ");
  console.printf("%s is a %s %s .  ", name, adjective, noun);
  console.printf("They are always %s %s. ", adverb, verb);
}

}

You've misspelled the parseInt method here -

int age = Integer.paseInt(ageOfUser);

Looks like it should work if you fix that. Hope this helps!
