Which js editor is the best to use that has probably auto-complete and ease of use.

Hi Srinath,

It depends on whether you want something that's free or paid as in general a paid product is far better for any type of workflow compared to free products which offer entry level functionality.

Last year a study was conducted which awarded WebStorm by JetBrains as the winner for all aspects ranging from auto-completion to built-in unit testing.

WebStorm is priced at US$49 for an individual license, another very popular IDE is Sublime Text 3 which is still in BETA but is vastly more popular than the current stable release of ST2, like WebStorm this is also premium software and a single license will set you back US$70.

Sadly it's hard to find free IDE's that provide robust features suitable for all-round web development but products such as Notepad++ works for a lot of people and I in the past used it as my primary IDE for about a year until I switched to ST2/3.

Sublime is "WinRAR Free". The free version is completely the same as the full version and without an expiration date. The only difference is you'll occasionally get a pop up asking to purchase.
