General Discussion

I will never get a job!!

The more I learn, practice and build, the more I discover that there are a lot of things that I have no idea about. I will die before I learn everything. I want to work at Duolingo as a python developer but I feel that I'm not good enough to apply yet. I need to learn more. So what mindset should I think with ?? And what should I do ?? and how to know if I'm good enough for the job or need more learning ?? Thanks in advance for answering my questions. :D

while (!self.hasIdealJob()):
  self.learn()
  self.buildCoolThings().shareOnGithub()
  self.UpdateResume()
  self.ApplyForIdealJob()

Imposter Syndrome. Very rarely do people feel good enough. I've been working as a software engineer for 10 years and I look stuff up CONSTANTLY. I have to learn new things CONSTANTLY.

Apply anyway. Worst case they don't respond. If they respond no, you can ask them what you need to work on. and sometimes, they say yes.

Thanks for the advice :D
