I was only able to blend the two stars by doing Option > Blend > Make - but not the way Mat does it in the video - why?

Hey everyone,

I was only able to blend the two stars by doing Option > Blend > Make - but not the way Mat does it in the video (by clicking the blend tool - and then clicking on the yellow star and then the red star).

When I try to do it the way he does - nothing happens - there is simply no response when I click on either object (though it is clear that the blend tool is selected [rather than there being a circle with a line through it or something).

Why is this the case?

You need to play around with the blend options to get like what Matt has. Try changing the specified steps and specified distance. It is on Objects > Blend > Blend Options..
