CSS How to Make a Website Customizing Colors and Fonts Add Fonts

I was asked to apply the font family to the H1. I'm certain I did this right. I'm confused.

Here's the code:

h1 { color: #fff; font-family: "Open Sans", sans-serif; font-weight: 700; font-size: 1.75em; }

What am I missing?

I've looked this code over, and even plugged it in real quick into my editor and everything seemed fine. However you might have confused the quiz by doing a little too much here.

the quiz begins in the css with:

a {
  text-decoration: none;
}

#wrapper {
  max-width: 940px;
  margin: 0 auto;
}

#logo {
  text-align: center;
  margin: 0;
}

h1, h2 {
  color: #fff;
}

nav a {
  color: #fff;
}

nav a:hover {
  color: #32673f;
}

Now, I'm assuming you're on the second part of the code challenge.

in your code you got rid of the h1, h2 selector and broke them out into separate selections and then applied the same font family and color to each. the quiz itself, as far as i can see having just run through it real quick, only asks you to work with styling the h1 element. so you are better off leaving the original h1, h2 selector and using a separate h1 selector to add the font family.

I would leave all the extra coding out. With code challenges it's best to do as they say and nothing more so that you don't accidentally do something that makes it think you haven't provided an acceptable answer.

That's my experience too. Sometimes I add a little of this and that and it bummers out on me too.
