Instead of inputting .../my_really_cool_project
I typed in .../my_really-cool_project
How can I delete this remote?

24,934 PointsYou can simply just edit your remote origin by doing this:
git remote set-url origin git://new.url.here
However if you would just want to delete it, you can type this:
git remote remove origin
