I set the margin value as center, and yet it's showing up as error.

The question was to set the margin as center, so I wrote the code as:

margin: center; } Yet I'm receiving error message, asking to check the margin in css.

They weren't asking you to set the margin property to the value center, because that isn't a valid value for the margin property. They were wanting you to use the technique you learned watching the videos to center it using the margin property.

Here's the CSS code they were wanting:

a {
  text-decoration: none;
}

#wrapper {
  max-width: 940px;
  margin: 0 auto;
}

The part that centers the wrapper is the auto left and right margins. You might want to go back and re-watch the videos to make sure you understand that part.

Note: I verified the code. it passed in the challenge.
