I need you to write a function named product. It should take two arguments, you can call them whatever you want

I know I'm not far of but for some reason I got this error code when rechecking my work "Bummer! product did not return the right answer." Please help:

product.py 
def product(apple1, apple2):
    return (apple1, apple2) * 2 

    prod = product(1, 5) 
    print(product)
