I need help with Type Casting

I am not good with type casting/type conversion. Please help me.

Jade, close! But you need to set result to the typed object in an if... else... statement, and then return result. Also, String result = 0; needs to be at the top:

  public static String getTitleFromObject(Object obj) {
    // Fix this result variable to be the correct string.
    String result = "";
    if (obj instanceof String) {
      result = (String) obj; 
    } else if (obj instanceof BlogPost) {
      BlogPost p = (BlogPost) obj;
      result = p.getTitle();
    }
    return result;
  }
