306 PointsI need help with this challenge.
Using the console's printf method, display a message that says, "First name: ", followed by the first name that the user has entered.
// I have imported java.io.Console for you. It is a variable called console.
String firstName = console.readLine("Sandy");
String lastName = console.readLine("Thor");
console.printf = ("First name: %s, firstName")

9,483 PointsHi Sandy. There are a few errors in your printf statement:
console.printf = ("First name: %s, firstName")
- there is no need for the equal (=) sign. The statement should be
console.printf();
- you misplaced your closing quote. The String ends after
%s
, before the comma. firstName is the variable that will replace the%s
placeholder. - you are missing a semi-colon at the end of your statement.
Hope that helps :)
