i need help please

You'll need to use your skills to loop through each of the tiles, use an equality check, and then increment a counter if the tile and letter match. You got this!

Now in your new method, have it return a number representing the count of tiles that match the letter that was passed in to the method. Make sure to check Example.java for some example uses.

The most obvious issue is that the braces are out of balance. There are more open braces than closing ones.

But it appears that you started to create a function named "getTileCount" (which is not the correct name for the new function) but did not complete it. If you remove those extra lines, the definition of "getCountOfLetter" (the correct name) after it seems complete and should pass task one of the challenge.
