I keep on getting Bummer! Whoops, color is still being assigned in the field declaration. What am I doing wrong here? This is my code.
public GoKart (String color) { this.color=color; }
class GoKart {
private String color = "red";
public GoKart (String color) {
this.color = color;
}
public String getColor() {
return color;
}
}

Treehouse TeacherHi there! The point of this is that we don't always want a red car. Some people may want blue cars or green cars, so we want to set the color at the time of creation. The only thing you need to do here is remove the = "red"
.
Hope this helps!
