# EXAMPLE
# random_item("Treehouse")
# The randomly selected number is 4.
# The return value would be "h"
import random
def random_item("Python"):
return "Python"[random.randit(0, len("Python") - 1)]

231,248 PointsYou can't put quotes around variable names, that makes them string literals instead. The example is showing you how your function might be used, not how to define it.
Also, it looks like you misspelled randint (you have "randit").
Fix those things, and I think you'll have it.
