I NEED A LIL SIMPLIFICATION ON DO WHILE

if response is no then the loop keeps going on.... so where am i wrong and what is the point of while and do we need to use boolean in this??

Example.java
// I have initialized a java.io.Console for you. It is in a variable named console.
String response;
do
{

  response = console.readLine("Do you understand do while loop?  ");
  if
  {
  response.equalsIgnoreCase("no");
  }

}
while {}

Hello

Have you tried this:

// I have initialized a java.io.Console for you. It is in a variable named console.
String response;
do
{

  response = console.readLine("Do you understand do while loop?  ");

}
while (response == 'no')

Please note that

  if
  {
  response.equalsIgnoreCase("no");
  }

is not needed ... it does not do anything in this case, you can remove it.
