When you are writing CSS Inline in the HTML document (which is not common), you need to surround your CSS with opening and closing <style> tags. Your CSS is correct, you are just missing these tags.
When you are writing CSS in a style sheet (which is coming in future lessons), these tags will not be used. But, for this challenge, you are needing a single line of code above the <h1>
<style> h1 {color: green;} </style>
Keep Coding! :)

34,341 PointsYou're missing the <style></style> tags surrounding the CSS code. That will help you get the correct answer.
