2,141 PointsI keep getting Bummer!! for this test.
String firstExample = "hello"; String secondExample = "hello"; String thirdExample = "HELL"; if (firstExample.equals(secondExample)) { console.printf("first is equal to second"); } if (firstExample.equalsIgnoreCase(thirdExample)) { console.printf("first and third are the same ignoring case"); }
// I have imported a java.io.Console for you, it is named console.
String firstExample = "hello";
String secondExample = "hello";
String thirdExample = "HELL";
if (firstExample.equals(secondExample)) {
console.printf("first is equal to second");
}
if (firstExample.equalsIgnoreCase(thirdExample)) {
console.printf("first and third are the same ignoring case");
}

17,610 PointsHey D BB,
Quick fix, it is just because your third example is says 'HELL" instead of "HELLO". You somehow deleted the O on that string.
