I keep getting asked to insert an img tag in my code but I already have one. What am I doing wrong?

Why is this code not wokring? I keep receiving a message that says insert an image tag.

index.html

  <head>
    <meta charset="utf-8">
    <title>Nick Pettit</title>

image is a self closing tag. try <img src="img/number-01.jpg" alt=""/> with "/" before you close

I think you are adding too much. Delete the <a href=...> lines out of your coding. Then add an 's' to the word numbers: <img src="img/numberS-01.jpg" alt="">

<ul>
  <li>
    <img src="img/numbers-01.jpg" alt="">
  </li>
</ul>

Think this should work, good luck!
