19,205 PointsI keep getting an empty array, where is my error?
I've written this code out a few times now, and I feel like I am transcribing it exactly as he says to do it, but every time I am getting an empty array [] rather than the results he does. Where is my error? I can't seem to find it.
print(re.findall(r'''
^([-\w ]*,\s[-\w ]+)\t
([-\w\d.+]+@[-\w\d.]+)\t
(\(?\d{3}\)?-?\s?\d{3}-\d{4})?\t
([\w\s]+,\s[/w/s.]+)\t?
(@[\w\d]+)?$
''', data, re.X|re.M))

231,269 PointsIn the part of the regex that parses the "job" field, there are some slashes where there should be backslashes:
(?P<job>[\w\s]+,\s[/w/s.]+)\t? # original
(?P<job>[\w\s]+,\s[\w\s.]+)\t? # fixed
