1,754 PointsI haven't been working on my WordPress site (locally) for a couple of weeks, and now can't find it anymore!
Can't reach my example.dev wordpress if I type it in on the browser. Still see it in my docs, but got no idea of how to launch it. Don't want to restart a new one, I would loose all progress.

27,930 PointsHi Michele,
In reply to your questions about post types and how to display to specific pages etc.
To try get you a solid and descriptive answer to do those things correctly would be a mighty long answer to read and refer to, the best thing I think to do would be to follow along with Zac's course on WordPress Theme Development, this course is the one that will really get you going in terms of understanding how to implement custom post types and when they are needed.
Zac goes over the plugins that will help as well as the templates needed all in an easy to follow set of videos, much better than I could try and write out for you. The plugins he uses are the ones I still use today and are very highly regarded.
Hope this gets you going.

1,754 PointsHi Craig,
thanks for the prompt reply. I solved the issue, still don't know what wasn't really working.
I pick up the chance to go a bit off topic if possible.
I want to structure my WP in the following way, but struggling in finding built in solutions or the right plugin.
I have 3 pages on my site: podcast, artists and news. I would like to post specific posts to each page (posts about artists in the artists page, and so on) and at the same time having the latest post from each page (only the latest one) visible on my home.
In other words on the home you see a post from podcast, one form artists and one from news. If you then go to the artists page, you see all posts about artists.
I would really appreciate help since this is the only way I envision the site I plan on building actually working.
Thanks in advance
Michele
