1,730 PointsI have to add the display option display: inline-block; but it's not working. Maybe i'm doing something wrong.
I added the display option to my nav element like this.
nav ul { display: inline-block; }
Why is that incorrect?
a {
text-decoration: none;
}
#wrapper {
max-width: 940px;
margin: 0 auto;
}
#logo {
text-align: center;
margin: 0;
}
h1, h2 {
color: #fff;
}
nav a {
color: #fff;
}
nav a:hover {
color: #32673f;
}
h1 {
font-family: ‘Changa One’, sans-serif;
font-size: 1.75em;
font-weight: normal;
}
img {
max-width: 100%;
}
#gallery {
margin: 0;
padding: 0;
list-style: none;
}
#gallery li {
float: left;
width: 45%;
margin: 2.5%;
background-color: #f5f5f5;
color: #bdc3c7;
}
nav ul {
margin-top: 0;
margin-bottom: 0;
margin-left: 10px;
margin-right: 10px;
padding: 0;
list-style: none;
display: inline-block;
}

25,493 PointsHi William Darche, there is nothing wrong with your css, you are just applying the display: inline-block to the wrong element. The code challenge is asking for you to select the list items (li) within the nav (nav). So your code should look like this:
nav li { display: inline-block; }
In the code you posted, you are selecting the parent of the list items or just the list itself
