I have set background-size to 20px and I still get the error to set it to 20px.

It asks you to set the background size to 20px square. In other words, it should be 20px on all sides.

Try using this code:

  background-repeat: no-repeat;
  background-size: 20px 20px;
  padding: 0 0 0 30px;

The line between background and size (at least on my screen) is a different color. Are you sure that it is a dash? Try retyping it.
