I have no idea why this is not working?

what do i do wrong

i create a variabel name = "elvis"

then i create another variabel called subject and i use format method and a placeholder to insert the variabel called name inside

subject = "Treehouse loves {}".format.(name)

strings.py 
name = elvis
subject = "Treehouse loves {}".format(name)

A string value elvis must in the quotes like "elvis".
