I have no idea what I'm doing wrong. Would any of you mind helping me out here?

Please help me out.

String response = console.readLine("Do you understand do while loops? "); 
} while (response.equalsIgnoreCase = "no");

String.equalsIgnoreCase is a function that returns a Boolean of whether or not the function argument is the same (ignoring the case of course!)

Try calling the function with the argument "no" instead of checking if it equals no

I tried your answer. The error that came from it was something about there being too many loops. Here's the updated code with your suggestion. // I have initialized a java.io.Console for you. It is in a variable named console. String response = console.readLine("Do you understand do while loops?");
