I have input the answer correctly and it won't let me get past this challenge.

I already completed this challenge but it keeps asking me to set the href element to 'pies.html' which is already on there...

index.html
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
  <head>
    <title>Lists and Links</title>
  </head>
  <body>
  <ul>
    <a href="cakes.html"><li>Cakes</li></a>

    <a href="pies.html"><li>Pies</li></a>

    <a href="candy.html"><li>Candy</li></a>
    </ul>
  </body>
</html>

It might not be done quite as "correctly" as you think. :wink:

You're close, but you need to have the links ("a" tags) inside the list items (li). Right now they are "inside-out".

I think you need to have opening <li> being you add the link with the <a href

<ul>
    <li><a href="cakes.html">Cakes</li></a>

   <li><a href="pies.html">Pies</li></a>

    <li><a href="candy.html">Candy</li></a>
</ul>
