2,794 PointsI have finished the code challenge and confirmed there is no compile error from my play ground. plz take a look.
following are my codes:
struct RGBColor { let red: Double let green: Double let blue: Double let alpha: Double
let description: String
// Add your code below init() { self.red = 86.0 self.green = 191.0 self.blue = 131.0 self.alpha = 1.0 self.description = "red: (red), green: (green), blue: (blue), alpha: (alpha)"
} }
struct RGBColor {
let red: Double
let green: Double
let blue: Double
let alpha: Double
let description: String
// Add your code below
init() {
self.red = 86.0
self.green = 191.0
self.blue = 131.0
self.alpha = 1.0
self.description = "red: \(red), green: \(green), blue: \(blue), alpha: \(alpha)"
}

57,712 PointsHi Nick,
The numbers given in the challenge are examples, they're not to be hard-coded.
So, the user will pass their chosen values into the constructor to create a colour of their choice. You've created description
correctly so that's the only adjustment that's required, I think.
So, pass the RGBA values into the constructor and assign them within the init
method as you have done. Don't use actual numbers, though. Something like init(red: Double, green: Double ...
- you get the idea.
Make sense?
Steve.
