14,636 PointsYes, the properties are correct for that selector but your selector contains an error.
#gallery l1 {
float: left;
width: 45%;
margin: 2.5%;
}
Check again what elements you're supposed to be targeting with the selector and then look at the selector again.. what's wrong there?

21,330 PointsIt would be helpful to see the instructions and HTML as well, but it seems like you're trying to float the gallery list to the left with a width of 45%? It looks like you called "#gallery l1" (L-one) instead of "#gallery li".
