5,153 PointsI have been at this for a couple days now and the only error I get now is try again
I don 't know how to output the array the way it want's me to, I even get it to output in the preview but it just keeps saying to try again
<?php
//edit this array
$contacts[] = [
'name' => 'Alena Holligan',
'email' => 'alena.holligan@teamtreehouse.com',
];
$contacts[] = [
'name' => 'Dave McFarland',
'email' => 'dave.mcfarland@teamtreehouse.com',
];
$contacts[] = [
'name' => 'Treasure Porth',
'email' => 'treasure.porth@teamtreehouse.com',
];
$contacts[] = [
'name' => 'Andrew Chalkley',
'email' => 'andrew.chalkley@teamtreehouse.com',
];
//$contacts[0] will return 'Alena Holligan' in our simple array of names.
echo $contacts[0]['name'] . $contacts[0]['email'] . "\n";
echo $contacts[1]['name'] . $contacts[1]['email'] . "\n";
echo $contacts[2]['name'] . $contacts[2]['email'] . "\n";
echo $contacts[3]['name'] . $contacts[3]['email'] . "\n";
//Example: $contacts = array(array('name'=>'Alena Holligan'));
//Example: $array[#][STRING]
/*echo "<ul>\n";
echo "<li>Dave McFarland : dave.mcfarland@teamtreehouse.com</li>\n";
echo "<li>Treasure Porth : treasure.porth@teamtreehouse.com</li>\n";
echo "<li>Andrew Chalkley : andrew.chalkley@teamtreehouse.com</li>\n";
echo "</ul>\n";*/

Treehouse Moderator 48,850 PointsI think you need to delete:
echo $contacts[0]['name'] . $contacts[0]['email'] . "\n";
echo $contacts[1]['name'] . $contacts[1]['email'] . "\n";
echo $contacts[2]['name'] . $contacts[2]['email'] . "\n";
echo $contacts[3]['name'] . $contacts[3]['email'] . "\n";
and add the contact data in below:
echo "<ul>\n";
echo "<li>" . $contacts[0]["name"] . " : " . $contacts[0]["email"] . "</li>\n";
echo "<li>" . $contacts[1]["name"] . " : " . $contacts[1]["email"] . "</li>\n";
echo "<li>" . $contacts[2]["name"] . " : " . $contacts[2]["email"] . "</li>\n";
echo "<li>" . $contacts[3]["name"] . " : " . $contacts[3]["email"] . "</li>\n";
echo "</ul>\n";

5,153 PointsBRUH it actually worked omg, I did something like that on the first day, but ohhh I don't think I had the <li> placed properly when I tried it. Yeah it makes sense now, cuz it needs to be able to properly display it on the webpage. Thank you!

5,153 Pointsthe code in the post isn't the code I had before, that was just me messing around trying to figure it out.
