Here's me in a nutshell; I'm in my early 40s, I am a practicing lawyer that has managed to finally carve out some work in the legal field that doesn't eat up a bunch of my time and also doesn't require me to chase down clients like my previous years as a lawyer. Basically, it means I finally have time to pursue some hobbies I have.
Which brings me to my question (or questions), I think the chance of me doing any JavaScript work professionally is probably pretty low. I just am interested in programming as a hobby at this point. I just find it a neat thing to do. I wouldn't close a door necessarily if one opened in terms of a job, but definitely not my focus.
I am currently enrolled in the Full Stack JavaScript Tech Degree, but am I just wondering if it is more than someone who likes to code for fun needs? I know I can get the same courses for the $25 monthly fee, but I was hoping the feedback that the Tech Degree says it provides might be worth it?
Any thoughts for someone that is interested in just learning JavaScript for learning's sake?
