I get to step 4 of my little background image quiz and I type in center / cover, it says bummer and talks about the URL.

And won't allow me to continue to the next step. I have typed it shorthand, non-shorthand. All which way, please help.

Hey Chance. The error is bad but I think its because the compiler is confused with " / cover". First of all you need a semicolon after "center". I'd probably put all that on one line like this

background: url("img/bear.jpg") no-repeat center;

Now you are right you need to use cover. But read the question it tells you that you need to use the background-size property. So something like

background-size: cover;
