2,317 PointsI forgot how the str.format() and a string with a placeholder {} exactly work together.
Now I did
name = "John" subject = "Trehouse loves " + str.format(name)
But this is wrong.
name = "John"
subject = "Treehouse loves {}" + str.format(name)

Treehouse TeacherYou're very close here. The .format should connect directly to the string you're trying to format. Take a look:
name = "Jane"
subject = "Treehouse loves {}".format(name)
