Python Python Basics (2015) Python Data Types Use .split() and .join()

I don't understand what's being asked here

Here's what I've done. My code is effectively adding together the menu with the sundaes options. I'm not sure why I have to create a new string for sundaes. I'm just really lost on this one.

banana.py
available = "banana split;hot fudge;cherry;malted;black and white"
sundaes = available.split(";")
menu = "Our available flavors are: {}."
menu.format(", ".join(sundaes))

available = "banana split;hot fudge;cherry;malted;black and white"
sundaes = available.split(";")
menu = "Our available flavors are: {}."
menu = menu.format(", ".join(sundaes))

Simply add the "menu =" to your last line to hold the value of "menu.format(", ".join(sundaes))" in the menu variable.

Thanks, guys!

Hi Mohammmad,

try this code:

available = "banana split;hot fudge;cherry;malted;black and white"
sundaes = available.split(";")
menu = "Our available flavors are: {}.".format(", ".join(sundaes))

I hope this helps :)
