Courses Plus Student 16,352 PointsHi Adewuyi,
You're code looks great, only issue is the space after the colon, before the nth-child pseudo-class. Removing the space will pass the challenge.

Full Stack JavaScript Techdegree Student 11,127 PointsHi Adewuyi,
You should be using 'nth-of-type' to target the list items. If you use nth-child, like you have done, after '#gallery li:', it will look for children within the list tags.
Also, remove the space between the 'li:' and the 'nth' selector.
Hope that helps,
Ede
