I dont understand the question Now replace <YOUR NAME> in the console.printf expression with the firstName variable using the string formatter
// I have setup a java.io.Console object for you named console String firstName = "steve"; // toWriteMyName console.printf("%s , can code in Java\n", firstName);
// I have setup a java.io.Console object for you named console
String firstName = "steve";
// toWriteMyName
console.printf("%s , can code in Java\n", firstName);

The problem with your string is that you have a comma after your name and a new line at the end which does not match the string the challenge asked you for. If you remove them like this:
// I have setup a java.io.Console object for you named console
String firstName = "steve";
// toWriteMyName
console.printf("%s can code in Java", firstName);
Then your code will pass.
