"Finally, notice that our Spaceship class has a new field to store the number of passengers in the ship. Use the method to get the number of passengers for mSpaceship, and then set the text for mPassengersField to this value. Note: You will need to convert the int value to a String!" use what method?

57,712 PointsHi Kris,
You want to call getNumPassengers()
on mSpaceship
and assign that using setText()
to mPassengersField
. Because getNumPassengers()
returns an integer and you need a string for the mPassengersField
, use a "moosh", i.e. add an empty string to the end of the getNumPassengers
call:
mSpaceship = new Spaceship("FIREFLY");
mTypeLabel.setText(mSpaceship.getType());
mPassengersField.setText(mSpaceship.getNumPassengers() + "");
I hope that helps,
Steve.

The method
getNumPassengers
is called on an instance ofSpaceship
. You'll find the method defined in theSpaceship
class.Steve.
