1,151 Pointsi don't understand the increment question.
i am confused about passing the lapsDriven and the drive method in general , the question isn't clear to me.
class GoKart {
public static final int MAX_BARS = 8;
private String color;
private int barCount;
private int lapsDriven;
drive();
public String drive(){
lapsDriven=lapsDriven+1;
}
public GoKart(String color) {
this.color = color;
}
public String getColor() {
return color;
}
public void charge() {
barCount = MAX_BARS;
}
public boolean isBatteryEmpty() {
return barCount == 0;
}
public boolean isFullyCharged() {
return MAX_BARS == barCount;
}
}

Treehouse Moderator 37,862 PointsThe challenge wants you to create a method that doesn't return anything, you created one that returns a string. It also wanted you to use the shorthand increment operator:
public void drive(){
lapsDriven++;
}

Treehouse Moderator 37,862 PointsMake sure you don't have
drive();
in your code anywhere. I see it in your code snippet just below the class properties.
