the question is asking me to find an unordered list in the nav element and remove the top margin, however I only see a list in the gallery. I do not see a list in the nav element. ive tried changing the margins in the different elements and none of them work. I don't see where there is a list to change in the Nav elements.

Most challenges work with hypotheticals. You don't have access to the HTML doc, so you just have to follow the instructions in the challenges.
This one in particular wants you to target the un-ordered list inside the nav
element. For the CSS, you don't need to actually see the HTML.
Below is the CSS rule the challenge is looking for. Have a look, and I hope it makes sense. :)
