I don't really get the question "Add CSS that will allow images to fill their parent element" in the quiz.

I tried selecting the element images and using the max-width property setting it to :100%

I believe they are asking for the following code: img { max-width: 100% }

Can you post an example of your code so we can take a further look? Max-width:100%; should work.
