1,270 PointsI don't know what's wrong with code Did you initialize the field 'numSides' to 4 in the base constructor?
what is the wrong with my solution ?
namespace Treehouse.CodeChallenges
{
class Polygon
{
public readonly int NumSides;
public Polygon(int numSides)
{
NumSides = numSides;
}
}
class Square : Polygon
{
public readonly int SideLength;
public Square(int sideLength) : base(int NumSides)
{
NumSides = 4;
SideLength = sideLength;
}
}
}

Treehouse TeacherNice work so far Mohamed Reda ! You'll just have to pass the value in to the base class instead of defining it in the constructor in the way you have.
public Square(int sideLength) : base(*value to set numSides goes here*)
