11,938 PointsI don't know what to do.
I don't know what code is supposed to go where
public class GoKart {
public static final int MAX_BARS = 8;
private String mColor;
private int mBarsCount;
public GoKart(String color) {
mColor = color;
mBarsCount = 0;
}
public String getColor() {
return mColor;
}
public void drive(int laps) {
// Other driving code omitted for clarity purposes
mBarsCount -= laps;
}
public void charge() {
while (!isFullyCharged()) {
mBarsCount++;
}
}
public boolean isBatteryEmpty() {
return mBarsCount == 0;
}
public boolean isFullyCharged() {
return mBarsCount == MAX_BARS;
}
}

57,712 PointsHi Jonathan,
The challenge needs you to create a new drive
method that has a different signature to the existing one. This new method will take no parameters (unlike the current one) and will just drive one lap. You currently have this code to make the GoKart drive:
public void drive(int laps) {
// Other driving code omitted for clarity purposes
mBarsCount -= laps;
}
This has lots of code hidden so we don't want to duplicate all that. You want a new method that just drives one lap. We can use the existing code to do this:
public void drive() {
// Don't reinvent the wheel - use the existing method!
drive(1);
}
I hope that helps.
Steve.
