How are you initializing lapsDriven? You have a public charge() method to set barCount, but nothing to initialize a value into lapsDriven (private member variable).

I went back and looked at the problem - they are asking you to modify the original drive method (the one with no arguments) to call your overloaded method which keeps things DRY.

Hi Faisal

Most of your code will work except for the last drive methods. You are supposed to call the other (newly modified) drive method and passed an integer 1 into it. What you need to do is just write drive(1) inside the drive method that does not have any argument. That is the main problem in your code. The modification of your code is going to be like this:

public void drive(int i) {//<- this is not critical so it just suggestion okay...
    lapsDriven+=i;//<- you do not need the parenthesis so do not add it since it will make it harder to read
    barCount-=i;//<- please use easier variable name to identify not just i for example: lapsDriven?
  }
  public void drive(){//--Here where the real problem lies:
    /*this was not needed:
    lapsDriven++;
    barCount++;
    you need to change it into:*/
    drive(1);//<- just call the other drive method and pass an integer = 1 to that method.
  }

I hope this can help a little
