11,515 PointsI don't know the source of this error
Every time I try to run this challenge I get this:
swift_lint.swift:41:1: error: expected declaration
^ swift_lint.swift:25:7: note: in declaration of 'Robot' class Robot {
No clue what it means...
class Point {
var x: Int
var y: Int
init(x: Int, y: Int) {
self.x = x
self.y = y
}
}
enum Direction {
case left
case right
case up
case down
}
class Robot {
var location: Point
init() {
self.location = Point(x: 0, y: 0)
}
func move(_ direction: Direction) {
// Enter your code below
switch direction {
case Direction.up: return self.location.y += 1
case Direction.down: return location.y -= 1
case Direction.left: return location.x -= 1
case Direction.right: return location.x += 1
}
}

The error is pointing to the class Robot. The compiler is expecting declaration of 'Robot' because the braces were not closed.
class Point {
var x: Int
var y: Int
init(x: Int, y: Int) {
self.x = x
self.y = y
}
}
enum Direction {
case left
case right
case up
case down
}
class Robot {
var location: Point
init() {
self.location = Point(x: 0, y: 0)
}
func move(_ direction: Direction) {
// Enter your code below
switch direction {
case Direction.up: return self.location.y += 1
case Direction.down: return location.y -= 1
case Direction.left: return location.x -= 1
case Direction.right: return location.x += 1
} // this one is closing the switch
} // this one is closing the function
}// I added this one to close the declaration of the class
