Can someone explain to me how this thing works?
// I have initialized a java.io.Console for you. It is in a variable named console.
String response = console.readLine("Do you understand do while loops? ");
boolean asking;
do {
response = console.readLine("Type yes or no: ");
asking = (response.equalsIgnoreCase("no"));
if (asking) {
console.printf("Welcome!");
} while (asking);

57,712 PointsHiya,
For this challenge, you define the String response first
, then enter a do while
loop.
Inside the loop, you prompt the user with the question provided. At the end of each iteration, you test to see if the answer is "No". If it is, loop again, else don't.
Something like:
String response;
do {
response = console.readLine("Do you understand do while loops?");
} while (response.equals("No"));
I hope that makes sense.
Steve.
